Besides the fact that there were more media-people than participants, the crowd was about 80 percent male - mostly random lechers and spectators. The few male supporters kept saying that the beauty of women ("god's most perfect creation", according to one enthusiastic feminist poet ) had to be respected and protected. There were a handful, maybe 50, non-organizer, non-journo women there. Hopefully they'll organize again, but around a local incident next time, and get the colleges involved.
Never before did the nations of the earth expend so much money, time, strength and intelligence in preparing for the contingencies of war... And all for what? To save life, was it? To execute justice, was it? To protect human rights, was it? To promote civil and religious liberty, was it? To maintain order, bless society and elevate mankind, was it?
